CBI Security Services Information

In February 1994 the company started as Confidential Background Investigations, dba CBI Security Services, providing background services to employers of Salt Lake and the surrounding areas. In August 1995 they partnered with the Salt Lake City Corporation and started their first physical security services at the City and County Building in downtown Salt Lake. The relationship developed over the past seventeen years, to include five additional locations, making CBI the largest security contractor for the City of Salt Lake. In the fall of 1998 they started providing patrol services for Salt Lake City Parks and Recreation and from that, CBI’s Patrol Services was born. Today, they have the largest patrol services in the state of Utah, as well as providing services in Arizona. CBI is linked by name with a tradition of dependable and efficient service that extends over two decades. We are dedicated to the concept of total security solutions, specializing in the areas of physical security (armed and unarmed), vehicle patrol, alarm response, and executive (VIP) security. CBI provides clients with the latest concepts in private security administration. We are the security specialist, trained in the concept of total security solutions.
