Buddiup Group runs weekly group programs in Perth for people with intellectual and developmental disability, through two gender matched organisations: Buddiup for men and boys, Sisterup for women and girls. Participants join a fixed group and stay with it week after week, alongside the same gender matched mentors and coach. That consistency lets friendships and confidence grow, and lets families and referrers track progress through regular wellbeing check-ins and goal setting. Our programs include: - Step Up: A five hour weekly day program for school leavers 18+, with a gym session, weekly life skills learning, socialisation and community access, and a healthy lunch. - Buddiup Pups & Team Girl Power: Our youth program for ages 13 to 17, building the same skills in an age appropriate setting. - Team Buddiup & Team Sisterup: Our adult social fitness club with monthly group dinners. - 1:1 Mentoring & Support: Individual mentoring alongside the group program for those who need extra support. The Buddiup Project Ltd, our not-for-profit arm, funds facilitated programs and events so participants can take part without drawing further on their NDIS budgets. If you're a support coordinator, therapist or clinician weighing up a referral, get in touch and we'll walk you through our programs and how we can support your participants.
