Born to Thrive Information

Born to Thrive is a charitable trust dedicated to ensuring that all people receive the opportunity to develop, educate and empower themselves. A charity in our infancy, we have begun our work in East Africa working with two local charitable projects in Rwanda and Kenya where we support child sponsorship programmes, food provision, co-operative schemes and the building of classrooms. Our team has also spent months working on the ground with both of these projects, and this is exactly why we are different from many other charities – we know exactly where our money is going, and we trust and listen to our local partners when making the decisions that will affect them. Born to Thrive believe in sustainable giving: charity that will begin a cycle of development that can be maintained and even multiplied. Consequently we partner with and make grants to small, local, grass-roots charities and charitable projects whom we know and trust to use our grants to provide the most effective and on-going benefit to the people they support.
