Beyond Tutoring curates thoughtful content developed by teachers, advocates, educational mappers and designers of curricula, pedagogy and environment to create space for conversation for students and parents of students with exceptionalities. Our comprehensive blog strives to give information that empowers students (and their parents) to be their own advocate at all levels of education, with or without learning differences. We provide the following services: Educational Mapping: Whether your student has disabilities, wants to explore gifted programs, or needs any additional assistance, we can help pave the way for a successful educational trajectory. In this session, I will ask guiding questions to create a map for you, a marauders guide to navigating the often inclement world of academics, accommodations, applications, college counseling, grades and anticipated problems along the way. This session can also create an enhanced curriculum for summers, breaks or the gifted student or help to create lifestyle changes and study skills in all students especially those with exceptionalities. If you have a vision, quest or goal, this is the session for you. You are a planner. Someone who knows what he or she wants and dreams for your child but needs help getting there. Let us help you get there. **** Academic Advocacy: If you are looking for an advocate and consultant when you find that you’re in academic hot water, book an academic advocacy session. During this time, we will articulate the problem in ways that every person involved can understand and work towards a sustainable solution.
