askOLA extends learning by providing instant access to subject specialist online tutors via live chat. Our student-centred platform combined with our ‘whole child’ approach supports the academic and wellbeing needs of students through expert intervention and support from Kooth, the UK’s most trusted wellbeing community for young people. Our support is available from 9am to 9pm, 7-days a week. With rolling 90-day contracts and prices starting at £1.50 per student per month, your school can access a wealth of specialist knowledge and support without any long-term commitment in this ever-changing climate. askOLA works alongside your school’s existing teaching and learning structures. Through personalised and targeted support, askOLA compliments and extends class-based teaching; addressing gaps in knowledge whilst supporting pupil’s readiness to learn. More than this, teachers can access daily dashboards to see where students have been engaging outside of school, giving them a 360-degree view of their learning activity. Developed with teachers, students and mental health leads, askOLA sets out to add much-needed capacity in schools and to support the whole child. Delivered in partnership with Kooth, the UK’s largest online mental wellbeing community, students also have direct access to counselling services if needed. askOLA is a shared-goal-partnership between GLUU, YPO, Kooth and Shireland Collegiate Academy
