Founded in 1981 by Managing Director, Neil Armstrong and co-owned by Mark Kable, Harvest Moon began trading fresh potatoes to interstate markets and supplying local greengrocers in Tasmania. Whilst it still has many of those original customers, Harvest Moon now supplies into major supermarkets in Australia and overseas, growing into one of Australia’s largest fresh vegetable companies.

Plant Doctor was founded by well-known horticulturalist, bonsai curator, and believer in the need to eradicate the toxic chemicals used on our plants and in our bodies, the late Daniel Fitzhenry. It continues as a family business, with his son and daughter along with their families working to keep his products and vision alive. Daniels mentor and the original plant doctor, Dr Harry Goodman, gave him the task to find the perfect fertiliser and to strive to create a better world for all things living, and Daniel created the brand name Plant Doctor in honour of this giant among men. A chemical overspray in 1985 gave Daniel the impetus to formulate a range of products that provided plants with insect control and protection through natural herbicide technologies, and fertilisers and soil conditioners made from natural resources to help them flourish and grow. Since then Plant Doctor has developed exceptional earth friendly products utilising the science and technology driving the agriculture and horticultural revolution thats delivering ethical, economical and effective health and wellbeing solutions. Gave the team at plant doctor a ring and they supplied me with a wealth of information. Products turned up quickly. Will definitely be getting more 8 weeks difference been using stimulizer, activ8mate, soil wetter, seaweed secrets and champion fertiliser. Was super fast delivery. Amazing products!! The results are excellent and the prices are even better! Postage was only 2 days as well. Highly recommended! Only have great things to say about Plant Doctor. Organic products and a competitive price, fast shipping and easy to contact with questions. Have had great results with the special mix for lawns, and my plants (indoor and outdoor) love the seaweed secrets. I am excited to test out some of the animal products soon!
