As a local teacher for years, I was startled by how few of my students had experienced the amazing opportunities for outdoor recreation in our area. Inspired to change that, AO is committed to providing scholarships to low-income and culturally diverse youth to get out and explore the local outdoors. In addition, as an LNT Master Educator, we are committed to the principles of Leave No Trace, environmentalism and conservation.
