12trix Information

12trix is a self-directed math environment for children in the early grades. Instead of being explained to, the child learns by doing — the way he once learned to talk. Every idea starts as something he can see and move: balls that join together and split apart, a machine that turns ten single units into one ten and back again. He works with these until the idea is his own — and then a short check confirms he no longer needs them. The goal isn't a trick that works on screen. It's fluency that stays. There's no rush and nothing is counted against him. A child starts from the real bottom and works at his own pace, so a fluent child races ahead and a child with a gap finally has somewhere solid to stand. What he builds is a run of real successes, until the math becomes something he simply knows. Beyond the screen, there's a whole world of exploration — logic puzzles, math adventures, and hands-on missions. Not a reward wrapped around the math, but math itself as something worth playing with. For parents, 12trix is built to run on its own, with as much or as little involvement as you want. Follow a syllabus or skip it, flag when your child is stuck or resisting — the support is there when you need it. Preparation for state tests is coming soon. 12trix is available in the US. We're in the process of becoming an approved ESA provider, so families in eligible states will be able to use their funds — you're welcome to start now and reserve your place.
