Zuna Surf is a San Francisco-based publishing and creative services group that that specializes in surfing, adventure travel and related action sports. We publish the twice-monthly Swell Events e-newsletter, which publicizes a calendar of upcoming surf-related events and local social gatherings. Our services also include brand and marketing consulting, grassroots promotion, and advertising. Zuna Surf is headed up by Monica Lee , a tech entrepreneur and avid traveling surfer who enjoys bringing the surf community together in fun ways for good causes. Whether it's producing surf competitions or promoting artists, authors, filmmakers, and athletes, we always have an eye on encouraging an environmentally sound ocean. In addition to being passionate surfer, Monica brings deep experience in the venture capital, Internet e-commerce, and event production to Zuna Surf endeavors. Since 1999, Monica has helped produce numerous Northern California surf community events, contests and fundraisers, including surf fashion shows and swap meets to book signings, art auctions and film screenings, prior to founding Zuna Surf and while at Zuna.
