🌊 Zero Plastic Oceans (ZPO) is an NGO that focuses on creating mechanisms and incentives to encourage environmental cleanings focused on Ocean-Bound Plastic. To help the plastic value chain stop ocean pollution caused by plastic leakage, we created a certification program conceived as a tool to help the industry focus on removing OBP while ensuring the respect of social and ethical standards. ♻️ The Ocean Bound Plastic Certification program, a key initiative set by Zero Plastic Oceans, is audited by independent third parties (Certification Bodies) and relies on the active participation of stakeholders like you. The program is comprehensive, composed of 2 subprograms: the OBP Recycling subprogram with 2 Standards (OBP Recycling Organization, OBP Collection Organization) and the OBP Neutrality subprogram with 2 Standards (OBP Neutralization Services Provider, OBP Plastic Producers & Users).
