The name ZERMA comes from the German word zerkleinerungsmaschinen, literally translated as size reduction machinery. Since the company was founded in 1943, this has remained our mission. ZERMA has traditionally focused on the development and production of size reduction machinery for the plastics industry, however today ZERMA has expanded into the related industries of wood, tyre and e-waste recycling. Our core strength lies as a machinery and component producer, as such we are an ideal partner for systems integrators and OEM projects, and remain committed to the improvement and development of size reduction machinery. The ZERMA range consists of three main categories; Granulators, Shredders and Pulverisers. The ZERMA range of granulators cover virtually all sizes and applications, from the slow-speed beside-the-press models of the GSL series, the compact soundproofed granulators of the GSC and GST series, most commonly used in injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion applications, to the large GSH series heavy-duty granulators used in these applications as well as high-throughput operations and demanding post-consumer recycling. The ZERMA range of single-shaft shredders are designed and manufactured to exceed the most demanding applications. The small ZBS series is purpose-built for small in-house lumps and purgings, the ZSS and ZIS series for general applications, and the ZXS heavy-duty series for high throughputs with a wide range of demanding materials. Our shredder range also includes the ZWS series for wood and regenerative fuel applications, the ZHS series horizontal shredders, and the ZTTS and ZTTS-P shredders for car and truck tyre recycling applications, with complete systems to produce separated crumb or powder. ...
