Zearn Information

Grounded in the belief that all kids are math kids, Zearn is the nonprofit educational organization behind Zearn Math. Zearn Math is backed by rigorous, independent research and meets the standards for ESSA Tier 1, the highest evidence level under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act. Zearn Math is designed for limited, purposeful use alongside classroom instruction. Research shows students make the strongest gains when they complete three Zearn Math lessons per week. Teachers assign Zearn Math grade-level lessons connected to classroom instruction and receive real-time information they can use to help students who need extra support. During each lesson, students actively solve problems and show their thinking in writing, get support when stuck, and must demonstrate mastery before advancing. As a nonprofit, Zearn is committed to student data privacy. Zearn does not sell personal student data or use it for advertising. Zearn Math does not include student-facing generative AI.
