Zartech Ltd was founded by Simon Aliwell to deliver innovation management, technology commercialisation, R&D and entrepreneur support services to universities, established companies, start-ups and government agencies. He has lead teams providing innovation management services and consultancy to industry, government and academia and founded and run a number of technology networks including the Sensors & Instrumentation KTN. He has worked extensively with companies large and small to help access technology, markets and both public and private sector finance. He has a particular interest in support to early stage companies seeking investment and understanding potential markets for their technology and in helping large companies acquire technology capability. Simon has a background in sensors and instrumentation technology research and further experience in technology commercialisation. He has developed new sensor and instrumentation technologies and has experience in the application of sensing and instrumentation in sectors as diverse as healthcare, security, environmental, process industry and leading edge science, as well as a good knowledge of a range of technologies that enable sensing and measurement. Simon has a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry from Cambridge University and an MBA from London Business School.
