Zarch is an architectural studio practicing within the conventional realms of architecture and planning; an atelier that deploys architectural thinking within a collaborative sphere of arts, design and beyond. We believe sustainability can inform the design, planning and programming of buildings, not merely as ‘plug-in’ solutions but in a holistic way that enable building occupants to reflect upon the environment. Our approach has been described as ‘agile’, mixing research, innovation and experimentation, incorporating multimedia and technology into the spaces we design as we look towards the future of architecture. Our projects range from conservation of historic buildings, clubhouses, galleries, offices and F&B tailored to specific site, phasing and other operational requirements. We explore how conventional or traditional programs may be re-imagined and combined to create new patterns, opportunities and artistic expression that adapt to future work and lifestyle.
