Youth on Root Information

Youth on Root is a nonprofit project whose mission is to center low-income youth and youth of color as change agents in their communities by providing tools for learning from each other and opportunities to use their unique power to promote environmental justice. Based in California, we envision a statewide cohort of youth that has the tools, education, access, and confidence required to bring their visions of justice to their communities and address the issues that impact them.
