At phorus, we're big believers in the idea that listening to music should be simple. It's been phenomenal to see how far digital music has come. Enjoy almost any song, anywhere, from any device. People are collecting. Streaming. Sharing. It's so much fun. And yet, when you come home and take out the earbuds, suddenly things get complicated. You have to stick your phone in a dock, and can't answer calls anymore. The song you love is coming out of cruddy-sounding laptop speakers. Or you're praying that bluetooth will stay connected as you cross the room. Then there's the idea that the kind of device you have defines how you listen. Android people. Windows people. Apple people. Same people, really, but they sure get treated differently when it comes to options for kicking back and playing music at home. It's all clunky. Its old. And it's a shame.
