Young Gates Information

Young Gates makes learning exciting through hands-on experiences that help students explore, create, problem-solve, and build confidence. We provide engaging educational programs for K–12 students, with a particular focus on hands-on STEM learning for K–2 learners. Our programs are designed around how children learn best: by doing, experimenting, asking questions, building, and discovering. Students can explore STEM, Coding, Robotics, Drones, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Public Speaking, and more through in-person and online learning opportunities. Across our programs, students develop curiosity, creativity, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and confidence while building skills that grow with them. Beyond technical instruction, Young Gates creates opportunities for students to learn together and learn from experience. Through collaborative activities, challenges, and community-building experiences, students practice communicating ideas, adapting when things do not go as planned, learning from mistakes, and working toward solutions with others. We serve families across the Bay Area through in-person programs and offer online learning for students in different locations. We also work with schools and community organizations to design and deliver learning experiences tailored to their students and communities.
