Yotopia Information

Yotopia is the electronic musical project by Yonatan Rimon & Tomer Dayan from Israel. They met in high school and became best friends. During school they listened to a lot of music together. Then they’ve been at the same unit in the army and went to a lot of parties together. It was only natural that they will start making music together, and indeed they started to create psychedelic music in 1998, mainly for the fun of it (under the name Volcano) and since then spent every spare moment writing music. they work in harmony, knowing each other’s weaknesses and advantages and say they have a lot of fun doing it. Their professional musical carrier started at the year 2002. The debut album "Point Blank" was released at 2005 on Flow Records from Portugal and became a huge success, supported by top dj's and fans all over the glob and considered to be a Progressive Trance classic. At 2009, Yotopia released their 2nd album at one of the leading labels of the progressive scene, Iboga rec. In this album they experiment their sound and blurred the lines between techno, progressive and trance. The result was a super high quality and well-crafted album, an essential and Unique DJ package which smashed lots of big dance floors and clubs. Over the years, Yotopia released many tracks and music on top labels such as Iboga, Echoes, Plusquam, Iono, Hommega & more and influenced lots of progressive trance artists around the globe. Yotopia already performed all around the world and kicked many dance floors on major stages such as Boom festival (Portugal) / Tshitraka Full Mloon & Indian spirit festivals (Germany) /Symbiosis Festival (SF-USA) / Aurora (Greece) / e-concert (Brazil) / Universo Parallelo (Brazil) / Radiance (Mexico) / Rainbow serpent (Australia) / Luminate (New Zealand) / Tree Of Life (Turkey) / Summer Never Ends (Switzerland) & many others, playing their own music Live performance and uplifting DJ sets.
