Yorkshire Young Achievers Foundation Information

The Yorkshire Young Achievers Foundation now provides direct support to young people, and projects helping those young people, across the region. Its formation was designed to allow fundraising throughout the year, something which has proved very successful, with events including a sponsored bike ride by Trustee Ash Barnard; the Sheffield 10k run; a curry evening and the Three Peaks Challenge, all adding to the amount raised by the annual awards. Grants made to date have included funding for schools for special projects; the funding of the training of a teacher at a Bradford school; a training grant to an athlete and a grant to help a children's cancer unit.
