The Yoga Connection was founded in 1980 in Chicago, Illinois and in 1987, The Yoga Connection moved to Tucson, Arizona, along with its founder Priscilla Potter. In July 1995, it was incorporated and received its 501c3 non-profit status. The Yoga Connection has been serving the Tucson community for over 20 years and has been a leader in community service. The mission of the Yoga Connection is to make the eastern and western mystical and healing traditions available to all who are in need. We are active in the community serving many populations with a variety of special needs. The Yoga Connection offers 200 and 300 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training programs, which are regulated by the state through the Arizona Private Post Secondary Education (AZPPSE) and registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 and 500 hour levels. The Yoga Connection is also approved by the Arizona Department of Veterans Services to certify qualified veterans for the GI Bill benefits for The Yoga Connection’s Hatha Yoga Teacher Training programs.
