Yebotech is a South African electronics manufacturing company which markets and sells an innovative digitalised key centric locking system designed to replace mechanical counterparts. A key can access multiple locks via standardised or remote authorisation, with audit trail capability. All products are affordable and easy to use, supported and controlled by a web interface. The Yebotech solution monitors, manage and control access to: • Infrastructure - properties, facilities and buildings; • Telecommunications - towers and electrical power units; • IT – security, server and fibre optic deployments; • Retail – supply chain and front store point of sale security; • Logistics – mobile remote access authorisation across the supply chain; • Energy, oil and gas – key and lock induction according to ATEX standards; • Security – access, management and control of high-risk value assets; Yebotech’s base system or platform architecture is highly flexible, user-friendly and allows for three dedicated solutions: • Elementary management and control – a graphic user interface (GUI) and/or YeboApp, an android cellular phone application offer support levels 1 - 2; • Application program interface (API) - allows for customer-specific integration with unique branding and offers support levels 1 - 2; • Sophisticated access management and account control - is managed via a secure platform and offers support levels 3 - 4. The most predominant issue facing business is key loss and fraudulent duplication and a companies speed, cost and ease to rectify if keys are compromised. Yebotech’s access management and control solution have unique features to render a key ineffectual outside of a calendar or authorised time window, for example, key switches off outside of work hours and when the keyholder re-enters the workplace, is required to sync the key to acquire the necessary authorisations.
