Rustici Software is the company behind xAPI.com. We manage and maintain the resources on this website to help people learn about and get started with the standard. We do not own xAPI. The standard is currently managed by Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative (ADL). We were instrumental in the creation of xAPI via a BAA awarded by ADL, the result of which was Project Tin Can, now known as the Experience API or xAPI for short. We also offer products that help companies implement xAPI and solve common problems that arise when doing so.
