Since the passing of the late Grandmaster and founder of the WHF, Kwang Sik Myung, we have all felt the tremendous loss from the world of martial arts in his tenacious integrity and devotion to Hapkido and its practicitioners. We are devoted to move forward the tradition, character, and practice of Hapkido in its truest essence while exploring the technique, application, and the lives of our members. We are the first and longest continuing world-wide organization devoted to the furtherance of teaching, developing, and sharing Hapkido throughout the world.
