Women on Boards UK Information

Women on Boards UK exists to help women make the right connections and career choices to take on a board role as a non-executive director, trustee or governor, or to get to the top within their own company. Women on Boards UK also work with individuals within companies who are trying to navigate a successful path to directorship. We run in-house career and leadership workshops for organisations as diverse as PwC, Linklaters, Scottish Water and Carillion plc. For our corporate members, we typically run in-house workshops for 20-30 employees. Our three most popular workshops are: - On Track for Success - managing your career and how taking on one board role can accelerate success - Managing your Career - career planning and resilience, networking and influence - Getting on Board In addition to the above, we run an in-depth executive leadership programme called - Getting to the C-Suite. Our unique 1-on-1 support includes reviewing your NED CV to help ensure you have done a good job at articulating your board relevant skills and, once you get to the interview stage, using our extensive network to introduce you to a board member with experience on a similar board to super-charge your interview preparation. The Women on Boards UK network is 30,000+ strong. Since our launch in September 2012, over 3,750 women have attended our popular Get on Board workshops and we have listed over 23,000 NED and trustee vacancies. It is FREE to advertise vacancies on our website. Most importantly, we know of 1000+ who have succeeded in finding a board role. Our Vacancy Board is a key part of the information we provide; we typically have over 200 NED/Trustee roles for you to consider.
