Women for MACC Information

Women for MACC is a non-profit, charitable organization made up of the mothers, siblings, relatives and concerned individuals who are fighting to eliminate pediatric cancer and blood disorders. The road toward a cure is a long one, but since our founding in 1982, we have helped to shorten the journey by contributing more than $4.8 Million to the MACC Fund for crucial pediatric cancer and blood disorder research. Over the last 40 years, Women for MACC has contributed more than $5.5 million to support the MACC Fund’s mission to fight childhood cancer and related blood disorders by providing critical funding for research of cures and treatments, thanks to generous support from our members, event attendees and the community. After much consideration, we have concluded that it is time to refocus our time, talent, and efforts to even better serve our mission to bring hope to families through research & awareness to end childhood cancer and related blood disorders. As announced at our Winter Social, Women for MACC will dissolve and become a committee of ambassadors for the MACC Fund, effective December 31, 2022. We are grateful for your support and hopeful for a future free of childhood cancer and related blood disorders.
