WLIB's current playlist includes music from Grammy Award winning artists with massive cross over appeal such as Erica Campbell, Kirk Franklin, Tamela Mann, Tye Tribbett and more. WLIB speaks to over a quarter of a million people in the tri-state area and particular the African American Community who listens in turn. WLIB's staff boasts some nationally known stars like Reverend Al Sharpton, Yolanda Adams, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Morgan Dukes, James Fortune, Donnie McClurkin, Dorinda Clarke-Cole and more! Truly award winning talent at the helm of the WLIB airwaves. Through out the year, WLIB co-promotes some of the biggest concerts in New York City. Last year we held Hezekiah Walker and Friends at NJ Pac during the Super Bowl weekend which proved to be a sold out once in a life time experience. We regularly participate in the St. Jude's Radiothon every year. Last year we raised over $110K in donations and enlisting Partners in Hope for their causes. The Six Flags Annual Gospel Explosion is a yearly event where we pack the Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ with a day full of gospel and praise. Finally WLIB partakes in the Summer Concert Series which is co-hosted by our sister station, WBLS, and is in conjunction with the City parks Foundation to bring big names to concert stages through out the 5 boroughs for free to the audience!
