We provide drinking water, recycled water, wastewater services and some stormwater services to more than four million people in Sydney, Illawarra and the Blue Mountains. Drinking water is sourced from a network of dams managed by Water NSW, then treated and delivered to customers' homes and businesses by Sydney Water. We are Australia's largest water utility with over 3,200 staff and an area of operations covering 12,700 square kilometres. Seqwater – Supplying safe, secure and cost-effective bulk drinking water to South East Queenslanders Seqwater is the Queensland Government statutory authority responsible for delivering safe, secure and cost-effective bulk drinking water for more than 3 million people across South East Queensland. We also provide essential flood mitigation services; manage catchment health; supply irrigation water to about 1,200 farmers; and offer recreation facilities enjoyed by millions of visitors a year. As one of the largest water businesses in Australia, our operations extend from Gympie to the New South Wales border and west to the base of the Toowoomba ranges.
