It’s all about the customer – this age-old adage cannot be truer in our case. And we have their valuable support to thank for our achievement of being the world’s largest chain of modern Thai restaurants.
Our concept is inspired by the needs of customers who want to dine amidst a relaxed yet contemporary ambience with no strict rules on decorum, still enjoy fantastically authentic Thai cuisine and at very reasonable prices. Best of all, they can enjoy whether in a group or alone, kudos to our unique serving style of individual portions.
It is a bold interpretation of Thai cuisine, from the usual exotic positioning in fine dining restaurants, and communal dining style, no doubt. But, we have been successful as proven in the 35 restaurants in ten countries (Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Vietnam) achieved in eight years. Our appeal has now achieved a global standing amongst customers from a myriad of countries.
The Soup Spoon story is symbolised by our primary logo: three differently shaped soup spoons that are arranged in a circular way to evoke a globe. Shaded in various corporate tones of warm orange, it is also a reference to our three founding partners who are united to create The Soup Spoon brand.
The Soup Spoon, including The Soup Spoon Union which houses brands like The Handburger, The Grill Knife and The Salad Fork, strives in our uncompromising aim to offer healthful, comfort meals with natural and sustainable ingredients.
As a soup category leader in the local F&B scene, we want to create a soup culture where soups take centre stage in a meal. Since our inception in 2002, we have expanded to more than 30 outlets, serving up innovative, fresh and nutritious meals that cater to the diverse dining needs of our patrons. Our stores are officially certified Halal in June 2019 and our retail products are halal-certified since 2016.
