Started in 1974, WHSN is licensed to Husson University and Operated by the students of the New England School Of Communications. WHSN is the training ground for students interested in a career in radio broadcasting at the New England School of Communications. In its 30+ years on the air countless radio professionals have begun their careers on WHSN. Student staff have gone on to work at radio stations all over Maine and throughout the world.
