With over 30 years experience in the health food industry, Wholefood Merchants has been serving the local community with farm fresh, pesticide-free products since the early 1980s. In that time we have witnessed an era of significant change in consumer diets. Fast food culture has dominated the food industry for too long. This has resulted in an increase in childhood obesity and dietary-related allergies. Wholefood Merchants is a response to a new wave of informed, health-conscious consumers, who want natural, organic alternatives to the products and produce found in major chain supermarkets. We offer a variety of products to help you and your family live a healthy, productive and vibrant life. Our first store opened in Knox city and quickly expanded to other major shopping precincts, including Greensborough, Doncaster, Southern Cross station and now Ferntree Gully, which is the largest health food store in Melbourne.
