WHM Whats Happening Magazine Information

We are a community based magazine with all our magazine content created by apprentices, as well as people who are currently unemployed and looking for work within the creative industries. We also work with local companies and people to bring exciting articles. The magazine is divided into two parts; the first half features local interest stories while the second half is focused on the latest trends in fashion, food, beauty and interiors. WHM has been established for over 10 years and was relaunched in 2013. The magazine can be found at various locations across the Sussex coast and is also available to read online. WHM is different from other local magazines as we work in partnership with the not for profit company, Proactive Training and Skills Services. Proactive Training and Skills Services was created to help people gain sustainable employment in the creative arts and media industry. Together, our aim is to provide the necessary skills and work experience for people to promote and showcase their work for potential employers. Any profits from WHM’s advertising revenue are used to provide this much needed and unique training. WHM also provides design services for individuals and small businesses seeking quality marketing materials at the most competitive price. Services include branding and logos, newsletters, book design, magazine design, websites and marketing collateral including brochures, leaflets, postcards and advertising. Using our team of creative, eager and imaginative designers, we aim to beat the price of any company offering design services in the UK. Just like our magazine, the design services we offer are created to the highest quality.
