WhiteBox Learning develops pre-engineering "Integrated-STEM" simulation software applications for engineering, science, and "STEM" classes, grades 6-12. WhiteBox's unique cloud-based virtual-modeling (CBVM®), allows students to research, design, analyze, simulate, and compete with fellow classmates around the "world", 24/7, all virtually, from any browser. Then, students can output manufacturing templates to build the hands-on activities they just simulated virtually, thereby "connecting the virtual to the physical"® and completing the full engineering design process. The WhiteBox STEM Software Applications cover various standards-based topics including Newton's Laws (Dragster 2.0), Aeronautics (Flight 2.0), Renewable Engineering (Green Car 2.0), Statics (Structures 2.0), and Rocketry and Ballistics (Rockets 2.0). Wrapped around these STEM Apps is a web-based graphically displayed teacher dashboard that ensures students are "moving beyond trial and error", by reporting in real-time, the links between the students' STEM content knowledge and their knowledge application, that is, the correlation between their effort and performance. Our people, and the technology we pioneered, have deep roots in industry. We have developed similar applications for many of the world's most advanced science and engineering organizations including Airbus Industries, Ford, General Motors, IPTN (Indonesia), Rolls Royce, Raytheon, and several suppliers to these companies. And our experience in secondary Technology Education ("Tech Ed") and K-12 S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) education spans decades.
