WHIT is inspired by smart and unconventional women. We find them everywhere: friends, family, old films, photography, and the streets of New York City. We celebrate women who personalize and mix their clothing to suit their individual styles. WHIT comes to life from designer Whitney Pozgay. Whitney’s distinct vision for styling and attention to detail, combined with years of design experience for larger brands, led her to venture out on her own. With the help of talented partners, Whitney is launching WHIT for the fall 2010 season. This first collection is comprised of beautifully crafted garments that range from curiously detailed silk dresses and structured skirts to specially detailed knits and pants. WHIT’s mission is to offer effortlessly chic apparel and accessories with a touch of whimsy. The brand focuses on items that are never tricky or overly complicated, while celebrating color and a sense of humor. Investment classics, playfully rooted in the present are met with vintage inspired prints and interesting textures. Each piece of clothing is made with careful attention to detail and construction. WHIT focuses on what women want, but not without some unexpected twists.
