Wendling Designs Competitors

Craftstone Architects, Inc. is a residential and commercial architectural firm that has been helping their clients create eye catching designs that are energy efficient and budget conscious since 2000. We do both new and remodeling type projects. Since the environments we create are for our clients, we make them an integral part of the design process. We sit down and get to know them. We guide and educate our clients through the multitude of design decisions they will need to make throughout the entire project. We listen to their wants and needs and merge them with our ideas and expertise to create environments that they will be proud of for years to come. Our services do not stop at design. We produce high quality detailed drawings that convey the design intent to all involved in such a way that reduces the number of questions and avoids the need for field changes. If questions should arise during bid or construction, we are there to answer them. Nearly 80% of our projects are referral or repeat clients and the name, Craftstone Architects, Inc., has become synonymous with great design and quality drawings at a reasonable fee. As we enter our fifteenth year of business. Formed in 1984 Knott Associates is a client-focused custom residential firm that can meet the needs of any sized project in any location. From interior and exterior remodels and additions to new custom homes, small commercial projects and historical renovations, the firm thrives in the diverse architectural setting San Francisco, Marin, Napa and Sonoma Counties offers. Founder Tom Knott got his start in architecture in high school when a drafting teacher encouraged him to pursue drawing and drafting. After taking second place in a local competition, Tom was hooked on the idea of becoming an architect. Tom found encouragement again when, at the junior college level, a professor praised his work and dedication to the craft. After transferring to and graduating from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Architecture, Tom began his career working for his former professor. It was in this working relationship with his former teacher that Tom began to refine his skills and truly develop a hunger for his work. Today as a licensed architect, Tom enjoys the design and architectural challenges presented by his clients. Hard working and focused, Tom feels most comfortable fulfilling his client's visions and dreams. His attention to detail and true passion to perfect his craft make it evident that he loves what he does. When he's not spending time with his family and dogs, Tom, a passionate cyclist, can be found most weekend days riding the roads of West Marin.
