After more than 24 years of broadcasting, WEFT remains commercial free. With well over 60 volunteer hosts, we continue to provide unique programming for the diverse communities in East Central Illinois. This valuable resource is available 24/7. Unlike cable television, WEFT does not charge anyone for this service. It is up to each listener to decide whether or not to support the station. Regardless of one's decision, keeping WEFT free does come with some very real costs. We must pay our daily operating expenses to keep the station on the air.
