WATBUS Information

We were 21 years young in 2019! Since being established in 1998, we have continued to grow to cope with the need and demand for our services and we operate daily services for local community groups, care homes and day centres. We have a fleet of vehicles for use by voluntary organisations, community groups and individuals across Northumberland, North and South Tyneside and beyond. Minibuses in our fleet seat up to 16 passengers, with some having been specially adapted to carry wheelchair passengers. We also have a few smaller, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, as well as some which have tow bars fitted. All vehicles are fitted with British Standard Safety Equipment and undergo regular planned maintenance and safety checks. All of our buses and trailers are available for self-drive hire, to those with the appropriate licence endorsements and certification. WATBus
