Established in 1885, the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) is the governing body of cricket in WA and oversees the development of the game of cricket across the state. Our vision is to be leaders in Australian Cricket and, together with Cricket Australia, make cricket Australia’s favourite sport. We strive to create a friendly camaraderie, sense of excitement and lasting feeling of pride for our employees, while encouraging staff to continually strive for excellence. We support a healthy work-life balance and provide our staff with opportunities to learn, develop and contribute to the Association’s success. We are passionate about our How We Play behaviours – Be real, Smash the boundaries, Make every ball count and Stronger together – which define how we work. We treat everyone with dignity and respect and value diversity, and take pride in being an equal opportunity employer. The WACA Ground officially opened in 1893 and is home to the state’s elite cricket teams, as well as providing a base for the Association’s Administration.
