Founded in 2004 by David Johnson, Virtus Benefits is a founding member of The Alera Group -- the nation's 7th largest employee benefits firm. Virtus and The Alera Group advise over 20,000 entities with a depth of knowledge in employee benefits, property and casualty, risk management and wealth management out of 40 offices nationally. Since our inception, we have grown to include a claims analytics, HR technology, wellness, telemedicine, and an exchange division, benefiting employers aligned with Virtus to flatten the cost curve.
