Virtualahan Information

Virtualahan is an inclusive and accessible online training school for People with Disabilities, Solo Parents, Out-of-School Youth, recovering addicts, Indigenous People, and other marginalized communities. Community members are trained in in-demand online skills like lead generation, content marketing, graphic design, video editing, social media marketing, basic website design, e-commerce and others. While on training, students undergo well-being sessions to improve their mental health, life skills, and self-worth. After the training employment support activities like job shadowing, job interview workshop, resume-making, mentorship, mock interviews, and apprenticeship are conducted to increase the chances of landing a job even for those without work experience. We also help employment partners to embrace inclusive hiring through series of training on Disability Inclusivity and Sensitivity Workshops, Inclusive Hiring, and more. We have now over 1000+ graduates at 60% employment rate (78% before the pandemic). Our program has been implemented by the Philippine government in 14 regions in the country.
