Victorian Dog Rescue is a proactive animal welfare charity focussed on saving animals from death row pounds. We have run the innovative Drought Dogs Progam, a free desexing program, education of foster care programs, a food bank for need people program and apart from our primary purpose aim for innovative programs that we hope will be picked up and expanded within other parts of Australia. We spend whatever is needed on our dogs and cats to restore them to good health and acceptable behaviour. We treat every dog and cat we save as we would our own and hope to inspire people to regard death row pets in the same light as they do their family dog, which unfortunately is currently not the case.
