Vibrant Communities Calgary (VCC) is a non-profit organization that works collaboratively, with various stakeholders and partners, seeking to engage Calgarians and to advocate for long-term strategies that address the root causes of poverty in Calgary. VCC is also the steward of Enough for All, Calgary’s poverty reduction strategy. Vibrant Communities Calgary focuses primarily on policy alternatives and advocacy of systemic poverty solutions. Poverty is a complex problem and, as such, requires multifaceted range of solutions. We believe if we address the root cause, as opposed to band-aid solutions, we can create the environment to lift more people out of poverty.
