VetPrep was born in 2003 when a small group of veterinary students became frustrated with the resources available to prepare for the NAVLE®. We looked at the interactive study tools available to other professions and complained that nobody made anything like this for veterinary students. We committed ourselves to developing the best study resource of its kind, building a team of our peers and professors while incorporating state-of-the-art technology to deliver the first program of its kind. What was initially planned as a brief 6-month project turned into 2+ years of design and development before the VetPrep site went live in 2006. Initial feedback was extremely positive and within one year, VetPrep became widely adopted as the study resource of choice for NAVLE® preparation. Since that time, we have worked continuously to expand and improve the database of content and the features available in VetPrep. Our team of content providers and reviewers has expanded to include preeminent experts in most of the veterinary specialties and we all remain extremely committed to the original mission that spawned VetPrep: namely, helping veterinary students and providing the most helpful, interactive, and up-to-date resource available for veterinary board exam preparation. We have been extremely appreciative of the support we have received from veterinary students and the veterinary community over the years. It is hard to believe that we have now been working at this for over 10 years and we feel extremely privileged to have been able to help so many veterinarians reach their goals. To show our appreciation and to give back to students, VetPrep has sponsored countless veterinary student events, supported veterinary charitable causes, and awarded veterinary service trips and other prizes to deserving students through our participation in the veterinary and student community.
