With a track record of excellence in the industry since 1969, Vetorial focuses its operations on the mining and steel sectors, producing charcoal and pig iron while engaging in iron ore extraction. Based in Mato Grosso do Sul and ISO 9001 certified, Vetorial and its founders are nationally recognized benchmarks in sustainable pig iron production. Vetria Mineração Iron ore extraction is conducted across two operational units located in Corumbá, MS. These two plants have an installed annual production capacity of approximately 3.5 million tons, 900,000 of which are dedicated to internal consumption at Vetorial Siderurgia, creating a significant competitive advantage. Extraction is performed through open-pit mining, ensuring optimal deposit utilization while minimizing environmental impact. Vetorial Siderurgia The company produces pig iron with a total installed capacity of 540,000 tons per year across two plants in Mato Grosso do Sul. The Corumbá unit has a production capacity of 360,000 tons of pig iron per year and includes a thermoelectric power plant. All units are equipped with robust infrastructure and pulverized coal injection (PCI) systems. We also operate an oxygen plant that enhances our competitive edge by reducing coal consumption and, consequently, lowering production costs. The Ribas do Rio Pardo (MS) unit was reactivated in September 2021, reaching a production capacity of 180,000 tons per year. This industrial plant also features a thermoelectric unit and a slag grinding facility. Vetorial Energética Vetorial Energética generates value through social and environmental responsibility, producing charcoal exclusively from renewable, planted forests. By utilizing sustainable woody biomass, the company remains dedicated to the production of "Green Pig Iron."
