In addition, we hope in the near future to provide work and training for trades in the building industry, so that those individuals are able to support themselves and gain self-esteem in the civilian world.” Veterans in Property USP Our USP (unique selling point) is that we intend to offer position’s as HMO house caretakers as a discounted or paid position. Moreover, that we wish to offer our British Veterans work in the construction industry, firstly teaching a valued trade and allowing them to gain confidence and independence through a structured “return to civilian work” system. Furthermore, for those individuals suffering from loneliness or PTSD they will have the support of fellow ex-service personnel in which they can seek understanding, this form of ‘scaffolding’ will assist in the healing process, in the military we simply call this “banter”.
