Vertical Knits Information

Vertical Knits is, as its name implies, a truly vertical operation in one location in Merida, Mexico, making knit tops and T-shirts. We do everything from knitting, dyeing, cutting and sewing to finishing, screenprinting, embellishing and packaging. Vertical Knits can hit the increasingly competitive price points in our business and still produce great quality. Since it is entirely vertical, VK avoids the incremental margins and overhead that push up the cost of producing printed T-shirts. We have been compliance approved by some of the toughest clients in the industry and our garment and print quality have also met these clients’ high standards. Vertical Knits does all its business as custom cut and sew so it is good for basics as well as those “non-standard” custom garments and prints. VK is expert at the new print techniques including flock, Hi-D, transfers, soft hand and embroidery print combinations. VK has an in- house art department as well as an extensive network of freelance artists.
