The US Pole Company, home of Sun Valley Lighting and US Architectural Lighting brands, has been a leading manufacturer of architectural, performance, outdoor luminaires and decorative poles since its inception in 1984, when founder, Joe Straus started the company in Sun Valley, California. From the beginning, our goal was always to be the best Outdoor Lighting Company for the professional market, embodied through domestic manufacturing, vertical integration, diversity of product, photometric performance and sophisticated architectural styling. As the company grew, it moved into its current modern facility in Palmdale, California in 2002. In 2016, US Pole became an employee-owned entity (ESOP) where its employee owners continue to manufacture Buy American Act compliant luminaires, poles, and bases from ingot to illuminance.
