University of Transport and Communications Information

This page is for people who either studied or worked in the university. Before the Vietnam's independence on September 2, 1945 the University of Transport and Communications has its predecessor, the College of Public Works. The university was reopened under the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on Nov. 15, 1945. November 15th is the annual tradition of the university. On March 24, 1962, Prime Minister Pham Van Dong signed the Decision No. 42 / CP establishing the University of Transport and Communications. March 24 is the founding date of the university. University of Transport and Communications (UTC or UCT) is a public university in the fields of engineering, transportation and economics. Ngày 15/11 hàng năm được lấy là ngày Truyền thống của Trường. Ngày 24/3/1962 Thủ tướng Phạm Văn Đồng ký quyết định số 42/CP thành lập Trường Đại học Giao thông Vận tải, Ngày 24/3 được lấy làm ngày Thành lập Trường. Trường Đại học Giao thông Vận tải (tiếng Anh: University of Transport and Communications, tên viết tắt: UTC hoặc UCT) là một trường đại học công lập đào tạo chuyên ngành các lãnh vực về kỹ thuật, giao thông vận tải, kinh tế của Việt Nam.
