Universal Learning Solutions is a UK-based social enterprise working with government, educators and donors around the world to provide bespoke services that deliver innovative literacy solutions. We operate on a not-for-profit basis. Our work is driven simply by the desire to help as many children as possible to read and write with confidence. Through this we believe we can help release a child's infinite potential. We work in partnership with governments in Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya to transform early grade English literacy levels with Jolly Phonics – the world’s leading synthetic phonics programme enabling and enthusing teachers to deliver high quality literacy tuition. We have wide-ranging experience of working with governments to build institutional capacity and in ensuring the long-term sustainability of our work. Our dedicated team has now trained more than 250,000 primary teachers and over 7,000 education officials, reaching over 32 million primary school children and driving meaningful improvements in literacy outcomes.
