UNITED SISTERS FOUNDATION (USF) was established in 2014, as a Section-8, Not For Profit (NGO) company to empower women through education and awareness. It was founded by Milind Soman and Reema Sanghavi, to encourage women from all sections of society to take their life into their hands and help create a more empowered society. Pinkathon - India’s Biggest Women’s Run was initiated in 2012, which began a movement on Women Matters that was carried forward by a growing community of empowered women, leading to the inception of USF. Today, in addition to women’s health and fitness; USF works on issues of education; livelihood; water, sanitation and hygiene (including sustainable menstrual hygiene management), women rights & participation and gender disparity. Our flagship projects are Pinkathon and Swavalamban, initiated with a primary objective of creating awareness about women’ s health and hygiene, sustainable menstruation practices, and diseases as a result of poor lifestyle choices.
