United Pathways, Inc. is a new company dedicated to delivering solutions for the gaps in patient throughput and workflow management within the healthcare industry to minimize loss and maximize revenue. A workflow consists of patterns of repeatable business activities supported by an organization of resources to provide services. United Pathways uses the latest in technology to bring disparate silos of data together to provide analytic's for Key Decision Makers operationally and financially. There are three major Workflow streams, in a hospital’s Patient Pathway, from Admission to Discharge: • The Clinical Pathway • The Information Architecture • The Logistics Pathways Patient Care is performed within these Pathways utilizing a plethora of different resources, tools, drugs, supplies, devices, machines, record keeping technologies as well as being augmented with human work flows. Quality Care, Patient Outcomes and Business Performance are evaluated by key performance indicators (KPI) within the Workflow. Improvements to Quality Care and Patient Outcomes occur when visibility of the resources, tools, drugs, supplies, devices, machines, record keeping technologies, human work flows, and gaps in the complete horizontal Healthcare Pathway, are identified, improved and optimized. Improvements to Business Performance occur when visibility of loss drivers and revenue opportunities are identified, isolated, and subsequently optimized. Optimization of the complete horizontal Healthcare Pathway is managed through industry-leading subject matter expert consultative processes and deployment of patented integration software.
